Summary

(Luke  23:43) One word from Jesus changes everything! In our final look at Jesus’ use of the word “today,” we find that it is a word of great expectancy. It speaks to us about God and His present work, about our lives and fleeting opportunities, and about our eternity, which is greater than we can imagine if we turn to Christ by faith. waste the now. It is a present tense word today, a word of expediency. We've also learned that today is a

1:13.5

word of opportunity, that while we have the opportunity, seek you the Lord while he may be found,

1:20.8

call you upon him while he's near. The Lord was very near, and the Lord's very near to you today.

1:25.9

Don't waste that and don't wait. Today we learn that

today is a word of expectancy. Now think about this man. He's a criminal. He's a sinner and he is dying.

What hope could he possibly have? Oh, I love this. Jesus gives him hope for all eternity.

eternal life. You can receive his very best. Let's listen to the rest of it. The man says to
