Summary

TalkTV International Editor Isabel Oakeshott kicks off today's show as we delve into the morning's top headlines as Judges have ruled that the government’s policy to deport migrants to Rwanda is unlawful in a significant blow to Rishi Sunak’s key pledge to “stop the boats”.  Conservative MP for Devizes Danny Kruger joins shortly after to discuss the ruling further. Founder of Ecotricity Dale Vince returns to The Independent Republic to discuss his support for the latest Just Stop Oil protest at the Lords cricket ground yesterday, former Met Police Detective Chief Inspector Mike Neville joins shortly after to discuss why the police have not been able to solve any thefts in most neighbourhoods, and Conservative MP Jonathan Gullis closes the show to discuss further the Rwanda ruling as PM Rishi Sunak says he "fundamentally disagrees" with the Court of Appeal, as it rules against the Rwanda asylum plan. All that and so much more, so tune in!

Why is a duck in my podcast? I hear you say. Well, I need your help. We live in a water stressed area and this can affect our local environment, even in the winter. By making small everyday changes, you can save water and money of your bills. Try popping a tap jacket on your outside tap. This protects pipes from freezing, stopping leaks and tire water use.
