| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to another edition of Getting Hammered. |
| 0:15.0 | I'm your co-host, Victor Mattis, along with Mary Catherine Hamm, who is still under the weather, |
| 0:19.9 | and we didn't want to subject our listeners to 45 minutes of a very scratchy, smoky voice, |
| 0:24.3 | Mary Catherine, although that would be a very popular podcast as well. |
| 0:27.6 | But we have a very special guest host today. |
| 0:31.8 | This time, it is the one and only Matthew Contonetti, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, |
| 0:38.7 | founding editor of the Washington Free Beacon, and author of the hot new book, The Right, |

| 1:37.8 | But by the time you're going to get to a chapter called Death, New York style. |
| 1:41.4 | Oh, yeah. |
| 1:42.1 | And when you do, I think you're going to enjoy that. |
| 1:44.4 | It's one of my favorite chapters in all of literature. |
| 1:48.4 | I can't wait because I just finished a chapter last of the Great Smokers. |
