We're going to talk today about the new college football playoff rankings. We're going to talk about TCU and the massive news that Gary Patterson has been fired after 21 seasons. And we're going to get more into that with Joel Anderson of Slate.com. He currently hosts the Slow Burn podcast. He's a former TCU player,

formerly covered college football for ESPN. So we'll get to Joel here in a little bit.

But starting off, guys, how are we doing today? Max, Sam.

I'm good. It's that time where we get all angsty about college football playoff rankings.

And I had my

plenty of doses of angst on Tuesday night so I'm ready and fired up to talk about why I'm

upset about some of these rankings. Beautiful. We got a lot to cover today. So just, you know,

no monkey business. Can we agree on that?

Yeah, we'll try to avoid that topic today, but that provided some pretty high quality

entertainment the other night.

It's like they always say, you know, mo monkey, mo problems, you know.

What a moment on Twitter that was, though, you know?

It's one of the funniest things that, it's one of the funniest things that it's one of the funniest college football

stories I followed late night, you know, in a while.

And I feel like things like that tend to happen in our sport.
