If God said to you, you could get one prayer answered, what would it be? You can choose one thing,

anything you want, what would that one thing be? In Psalm 27, David declares in his prayer what his one thing is.

He says in Psalm 27, verse 4,

One thing have I desired to the Lord.

That will I seek after,

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life

to behold the beauty of the Lord

and to inquire in his temple.

I think it is wonderful to observe

that the one thing David wanted David

got, and what was that one thing? He desired to worship God all the days of his life. He desired to

end his journey in fellowship with the Lord. And if you study the life of David, though we

immediately think of David as this
