2023 has been a year defined by mass shootings.

In fact, as I write this, there have been more mass shootings than days of the year. Think about that for a second. But what I want to focus on today is the aftermath of a shooting that happened in 2022.

We have some breaking news out of Texas for you now police on the scene of a

deadly shooting at an elementary school in Texas. This Wednesday marks

exactly one year since 19 young children and two teachers were killed in a pair of

classrooms at Rob Elementary in Uvaldi Texas. For countless family members and

the Uvaldi community it's been a year of grief and a year of outrage.

They should have moved in, you know, I don't think they had a right to sit there on their ass wait.

Why was this decision made not to go in and rescue these children?

Again, you know, the on-scene commander considered a

barricaded subject. Perhaps no reporter has done more digging into this story

over the past year than my guess this week, CNN Senior Crime and Justice Correspondent

Chamon Prokepez. He and his team got access to the case file from the

shooting which includes unreleased body camera footage. Today, why a group of survivors' mothers
