Iranian regime is historically weak at this moment, to do something that could, you know, define

his legacy.

I'm Bijan Hosseini and Doha, Qatar. We're in the West Bay. It's a central area here in

Doha. It's heavily commercialized. Doha, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are cities known for their relative

safety and stability. They're full of glitzy high rises, expats flocked there for economic opportunity and a sense of luxury.

But on Saturday afternoon, in broad daylight, my CNN colleagues Bijan and Nadine Ibrahim, who's in Abu Dhabi, became witnesses to a widening war.

We're up and going throughout the day, and then at noon, we heard two quite large explosions

happen outside our apartment. Lots of smoke in the sky. Sometimes they shake the windows.

And it's really left people here stuck in their tracks.

We've had emergency alert systems sent out asking people here to shelter in place, not to

go outside.

Back to our breaking news, the US and Israel carrying out military strikes against Iran

and calling for the overthrow of the regime.

Hours earlier, the US and Israel had launched a massive attack on Iran, aimed at decapitating

the Iranian regime.

Striking the compound of Iran's supreme leader, fighter jets were heard above the skies

of Tehran.

In response, Iran targeted Israel and US military bases far and wide across the region.

Damage was seen in Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar.
