1:21.6	And this is Rattled and Shook, a podcast where we tune into scary stories and discuss our deepest darkest fears.

1:31.0	So you might recognize Laura's voice from her podcasts, either the fall line or one strange thing,
1:35.4	which is really why we're here today. Yeah, I don't get to talk about that one much, so I'm extra excited. But yeah, I usually talk about true crime, so I'm extra excited to talk about the
1:40.7	paranormal. Yeah, I knew you first from true crime and your true crime stuff.
1:44.7	But then now that I've heard one strange thing, I'm like, oh, you're very, you're very into
1:49.6	this stuff.
1:50.7	Very.
1:51.4	So for the listener, can you kind of describe, like, what the premise of one strange thing is?
1:56.4	Absolutely.
1:57.3	I call it my accidental show.
1:59.5	So when I was working in true crime, I would be working hard on a case doing research and I'd stumble across the weirdest stories in archival newspapers, stuff I was not supposed to be reading. And I don't mean that it was like illegal, but rather it was off topic. So I'd be looking into a cold case and I'd find a story
2:18.7	about a town where for two weeks the strange monster was stalking everyone and they couldn't
2:24.4	figure it out and they had posseys out looking and rewards or a town where mysterious booms
2:32.0	were shaking the town for two weeks. And the news cycle in the town was just
2:36.6	totally obsessed with it. And then it just stopped. And everyone was just kind of standing around
2:40.8	going, what happened to us? And I would find myself researching these more and more and more.
