Hello, there I'm Chuck Todd and this is another episode of the Chuck Toddcast.

President Biden is on his way to Europe.

But before he left, we saw a number of pretty big developments in his legislative agenda.

White House officially ended infrastructure talks with Republican Senator Shelley Moore

Capito turning instead to a group of 20 senators to try and find deal.

That group of course includes the two Democrats that may matter the most to Joe Biden, Joe

Manchin and Kirsten Seminoff.

It's speaking of Manchin, he continues to receive the lion's share of incoming fire from

progressives who believe that he is the lone person standing in the way of eliminating the

filibuster and they're upset with him that he won't support one of the two big voting

rights bills.

But it is not all log jams in Capitol Hill.

The Senate did pass a pretty big technology investment ball on Tuesday night, two thirds

support from the chamber.

And earlier this week, we got word that police reform talks are truly progressing.

I will confess to Zing Tim Scott myself Wednesday morning and he seemed amazingly bullish.
