This book is for seven to nine figure entrepreneurs, how to scale through acquisitions. The benefit of a book is you do the work once, you create the book, and then years from now, it's bringing in client. Most entrepreneurs get on this hamster wheel, and they're sleepless nights over the same issue, same problem. There is a big gap between where they are now and what their goal is. That's what's really interesting, I think, is when you start describing your book to someone and just normal human language, you start to talk about these things. So you gotta define the person that it's for, the pain that they have that they know that they have, what's the promise, and then the price. Today we got a fun experiment. I'm joined by Tom Shipley, and we're doing the one-page book launch plan. I don't know if you guys have seen this, but this is our one page that takes people from idea all the way to publish.

1:49.7

All right. So it's a baby kernel. So we're going to, I like to start here with, which would be the idea, the topic, and the goal. And so we were kind of already chatting before this started

1:55.9

on the goal. I'm assuming the goal of the book is to grow the business. Grow the group

2:00.2

business and the community. Absolutely the group business and the community.

2:01.6

Absolutely.

2:04.5

So really important.

2:05.6

Begin with the end in mind, Stephen Covey.

2:07.6

Right.

2:07.8

So we're going to start with that.

2:08.8

And then based on that, let's look at the topic.

2:13.8

So I think you said M&A or how would you describe it?

2:16.6

If you had someone come up to you on the street and say in 15 seconds, you got to tell me what this book's about. How would you describe it currently?
