following the conversation I had with Rud van Nistelroy. Now, full disclaimer,

we spoke late in the afternoon the day before Ruben Amarim was appointed as the new head coach

of Manchester United, and that of course is a deal that will see him take charge of the team

until the summer of 2027. Obviously, Amarim doesn't start his new role for another few weeks, so it's rude,

who will continue to manage Manchester United's next three games and the club are really confident

in his ability to do that.

Now, what is very clear, which you will hear, is that Van Nistelroy wants to remain at Old

Trafford.

He's got 18 months of his contract left. He wants to help the

club, but you'll also hear him say in our conversation that that will take time. So here he is

talking after taking charge of the team against Leicester City in that League Cup round 16 tie,

and it was a night he clearly enjoyed.

and I think it helped the team forward like it always does.
