Summary

Today is Father's day and two days before my birthday, so I wanted to share with you a special story about a tragedy that happened in my own family. On November 14, 1979, my dad was hit by a drunk driver - after 42 days in a coma he defied the doctors and woke up. My dad, and my family, were never the same again - but the question remains on if some things happen for a reason. If my dad were never in this horrific accident, I never would have been born.

1:48.0	Police said Emanheiser was suffering from head injuries.
1:51.0	He was a passenger and a car driven by Keith Buck.
1:54.0	Two other passengers in the Buck vehicle were also injured.
1:58.0	William Hyde of Parker City was taken by helicopter to Indianapolis Methodist Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition in the intensive care unit.
2:07.0	Robin Barton, 21, is at Ball Hospital in serious condition with a dislocated hip.
2:14.0	Buck's car collided with an auto driven by bright waters, 19.
2:19.0	Waters is also listed in serious condition at Ball Hospital.
