I think, I mean, we might as well, look, we're all, we're all comedians here.

Yeah.

I don't know if people, I mean, we have talked about it, but just in case you haven't realized,

comedy films, you know, they've been taking a hit lately.

And there's some interesting facts actually I'll bring up once we actually get into it.

But I don't know.

I just feel like we need to talk about why this is happening.

And if it's possible to resurrect the in-theater comedy movie, okay?

Because I, you know.

I got a theory on why why I started failing.

It's a two-parter.

And one, I will preface this.

I have said this to the production company because I love this movie,

but I also think this was one of the movies that started putting the nail in the

cough on the comedies on big screens. I think 21 Jump Street, all right, came out.

It was a big comedy. It was such a huge hit. Hollywood had never seen a comedy make that much

money. You also took a non-comedic actor at the time in Channing Tatum, made him a comedy genius while

surrounding him with a bunch of comedic actors. And then Hollywood thought they could replicate

that big budget IP with Baywatch, the house, like all these films, and they didn't do well.

Then all the middle five million to $10 million comedies, all right, had to go to streaming,

but it's hard to tell if these streamers numbers are really doing well, so you can't pocket

it and no one was trying to put it in theaters.
