Hello everyone, welcome back to another episode of Playing Around.

I'm your host Paige Renee and I'm doing another solo episode this week.

You guys would be loving them, which makes me very happy.

But I'm exhausted.

I have had such a busy week.

I'm barely functioning right now.

I haven't had any sleep, but working on some really exciting things.

And I can't wait to tell you all about my time in San Diego at Torrey Pines.

And we'll get into all of that in a little bit.

I can't wait to talk about the US Open because it was a wild tournament.

So much was going on and it was really cool to be there at the venue for the first time ever.

So I'm going to talk about that in a little bit, but I do want to get into something right now.

And I have to admit that I had a bad take a while ago regarding Naomi Osaka.

When she declined interviews at the French Open, we recorded that episode right before she came out with her statement.

And withdrew from the tournament.

And our discussion was only based off of her first original statement of not wanting to do it.

And this was before she came out really talking about her mental health.

And she has also since then decided to withdraw from her next tournament, Wimbledon.

And so she's only going to be playing the next time she'll be playing will be in Tokyo for the Olympics.

I feel really bad about what I said because I think I was a little harsh on her and as an advocate for mental health.
