It felt like a continuation to me.

Winning the Cup double the year before and getting into that knockout mentality,

I think really helped us in 94.

I think the team, because we actually went into the final with a

couple of injuries and suspensions, which made it really difficult. But the biggest thing for me

was to, it's like if you talk to any successful team, the biggest thing players and staff will

talk about is a camaraderie between the team. And I think winning the two

cups a year before really set us in a place where the team spirit was fantastic. And there

were times when we played, I mean, I think it was Augs Air Away when we really struggled and

Wright, he scored an absolute screamer.

And then the semi-final when against PSG, right, he got booked and he knew that he was suspended for the final.

And at half-time he was sitting in the bath crying his eyes out because he knew he was missing the final.

Things like that happened.

And it's that team spirit, the camaraderie that you build up over a period of time

that really takes the team to that next level.

And the final was a classic.

Everyone wrote us off in the final against one of the best teams in Europe.

We didn't have Ritey.

We had a couple of injured players as well.

I know how midfield was very, very inexperienced. But we all stuck together.

We had a game plan.
