So today we're going back to 2005.

In May of 2005, a quiet part of rural Ohio woke up to something that no one was prepared for.

By the time most people had finished their morning coffee, six people were dead.

One teenage girl was barely alive, and a town that thought it understood itself was now living inside a nightmare.

So answers came fast, maybe too fast, and once they did, people were told the story was over.

It was solved, wrapped up, fully explained.

But that is not how it felt then.

And for a lot of people, it still doesn't feel that way now.

Join us for one night, too many questions. So this is not a story about a violent night on a

farm. Well, it is, but it's also about what came after. When a community wanted peace so badly,

it was willing to grab onto the first explanation that lets everyone breathe again.

So it's about the questions that never really went away, even when the official story said

that they should have. So we're slowing things down, taking a closer look at what happened,

what was said, and all of the questions that still have not gone away.
