Republicans won the House and held the Senate.

Since then, there have been 284 special in off-year elections.

Dems have routed Republicans, 2504 wins, flipping 30

seats, amazing. Nearly all state and federal elections have shifted left. High-profile governor

races in states like Virginia and New Jersey, not even close. Even on the issues like redistricting,

the picture is murky at best.

Dems in California and Virginia, you know that they prevailed, although courts seem to be pushing
