And boy, Darius has, in my mind, gone on a journey since the beginning of this past

off season about the trades we need to make, the types of players we need to acquire.

In retrospect, I'm very glad that we waited to do anything super big and then pounced on a trade that has great early returns, the Kendrick Nunn and three seconds for Rue Hachamura, who's been very beneficial in your three things today as the preview.

You touched on how beneficial he's been in a small sample size.

And so where's your head at, man?

We're a week away. And this is the last, you know, there are buyouts and guys like that,

but this is really the last time to formulate the team that we can be. So what are you thinking

at this moment? Well, my mind is swirling, man. In every single game, the Lakers have a very

specific type of roster where they have guys who have

super high ceilings, but I feel like can have pretty low floors. And I think Russ is probably like

the guy who is emblematic of that most, but in his own way, like Patrick Beverly represents that

where one game he can go five for

ten and hit four three-pointers and the next game he can be like 0 for seven.

And Lonnie Walker is very similar to this.
