Hello and welcome back to LOL Storytime, the Goofy Story Podcast for Kids. Today's story is called

One More Minute and features characters named after listeners Wren, Sophie, and Mike. This is a video

game themed story, and even though I haven't done much gaming since I was a kid, writing the story

made me reminisce about my old

video game days. Bonus Shadows this week to Josh Warner, Mason, Laura, Wendy, Esther, Gabe, Chelsea,

Tilly, Luca and Gianna, Suria and Suvonne, Jules, Alden, Lou Louisa and their dog Rodey, Ali Forbes from Scotland,

Kiva, Anya, Makani, and Maya from Hawaii.

Happy belated birthday to Enzo who just turned six, and happy upcoming birthday to Kiva, who will soon be nine.

Alright, let's get into the story.

This is the story of a kid who really liked video games.

And yeah, yeah, I know, that could be literally any kid. But this kid loved video games so

much, he would much rather spend an entire day gaming than go to school. Still describing most

kids? Well, this kid wished he could grow up and play video games for his job. Still? Well,

anyway, this kid was Ren, and clearly, just like most kids around the world,

Ren loved video games.

Ren was one of those, just give me one more minute kind of kids.

When he was asked to turn off his game before dinner or bed, it was always,

No, wait, not yet, just give me one more minute.

Asking for one more minute sounded harmless enough, but what Wren really meant was,

I actually need one more hour.

Wren's parents would have preferred he not play any video games in the first place.

Wren, you've been playing those silly games all day. YouYou're going to rot your brains.' "'The first time Ren heard his parents suggest video games could rot his brains,
