Open, please, in the scriptures to Luke the 16th chapter.

We've been looking at these scriptures in previous times in Luke 16 and verse 10.

Jesus said, he that's faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.

He that's unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

If therefore you've not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon.

Now this will have been the second time he mentioned mammon in this passage, and he's going to mention it again.

Who will commit to your trust the true riches?

So Mammon is riches, but not true riches.

12, if you've not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that

which is your own?

No servant can serve two masters.

Either he'll hate to one, love the other, or hold to the one and despise the other.

You cannot serve God and Mammon.

Now Mammon is money and things personified.

It's like money with a capital M.

And money as a God.

You can't serve God, the one living true God,

and the God of money.

And when he said that, verse 14, the Pharisees who were covetous, they heard these things

and it upset them, and they spoke derisively back to him and concerning what he had said.

Ah, what's he say?

What does he know?
