Father God, we pray that you would take this doctrinal treaty of the book of Romans as we get back

into schedule and online and in line with growth and spiritual development. Father, we know that

it is your desire that you cause us to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. And may we leave this study today knowing Jesus more

and also being equipped with more truth. So Father God, we just ask you now to be blessed by

our worship in song, which we've done, and then we'll do again at the end. But now our worship

in the word, we pray.

In Jesus' name, and all God's people said, amen.

So we're looking at a title series here in Romans chapter 12.

One life to live, and that would be for now.

One life to live for now.

One life to, this life that you're living right now is the life that you're to be focused on

and to be faithful to God about. So when I say one life to live for now, it's because we who are

believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is that the life that we're living now, we know it is a life that is very short. We've read that

in the Bible. It is a life that we are called to be faithful to him. And it is a life that at the

end will give an answer to. And listen, once that happens, then you're going to live the life

that he has purchased for you at the cross eternally.

And so for us, this is as close to hell as we're going to get in this world.

Because, you know, I think somebody recently or whenever wrote a book,

something like Your Best Life Now, some title like that.

And I disagreed with the title the moment I saw it pop up on Amazon.

Your Best Life, it's a Christian book, I think, I don't know.

Your Best Life Now.
