and his timing and all things and uh we're going to be looking at Hebrews 12 we've been studying

the first uh two verses of that and we've completed that and now we commence this section

the next section is Hebrews 12, verses 3 through 11.

We're looking at a message series title, All in the Family.

All in the Family.

And if you are a child of God, now listen carefully, a lot of people like to consider themselves

automatically children of God, but Jesus and the Bible, of course, is very specific regarding

the definition of that.

But if you are an actual follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, now listen carefully because if I have to convince you of this, then you're not in the family.

People who are in the family, they know they're in the family.

It's possible that you're in the family, but you need encouragement.

That's possible.

But people who do not know if they're in the family of God,

it's probably because they're not in the family of God,

that you've made an assumption that you are a follower of Christ,

or you've made an assumption that you're a Christian, when in reality

the Holy Spirit is telling you otherwise. And that's why you have this dogged type of, oh, no,

about things, because you believe in God, you might talk about Jesus sometimes, you own a Bible,

but there is this hollow, gaunt, emptiness inside. And that's not

the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. He, the Bible tells us, confirms our relationship with God.
