We're going to be diving into a fourth section of this very deep and wonderful portion of the book of Romans chapter 12.

We're looking at this series titled One Life to Live for now.

That is for now we're living full out for the Lord Jesus Christ, full throttle.

As fast as we can, as deep as we can, as much as we can, we're living for God and we're living for

his passions. How's that? How should we be living in our lives today? For our own passions, for what

we want, that's the problem. You and I are tempted to put our own passions ahead of what God

wants. And yet true life, true meaning, and true purpose comes from us putting God's purposes

first. And he speaks to us. And we'll read again, we're experts in it now, verses 1 through 8.

Verse 1 says, Paul speaks,

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,

that you present your bodies,

a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God,

which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For I say through the grace given to me to everyone who is among you,

not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,

but to think soberly, as God

has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

For us, we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function.

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
