Romans chapter 12 we're in this section that is the remarkably powerful, as is the book of Romans,

but Romans chapter 12.

And yes, we're going through the Bible slowly in this book, and yes, we're going through it right now,

extra slowly it turns out.

And I think you'll see the reason why this is

deep soul searching information given to us by the Holy Spirit the author of the Bible

we're looking at a message titled series One Life to Live for now meaning you and I as

believers this is it we're running the race we're the faith, we're serving the Lord and one another,

because at some point in time we're going to be done and we're going to be out of here.

And where we're going, the Bible says, is to be absent from the bodies, to be present with the Lord.

That is wonderful.

That means you and your consciousness.

Think of this.

Your body will be laid in the

ground if you die today, but yet you will immediately, your consciousness, your thinking, your

awareness, right? Your spirit, your soul will immediately be with the Lord in heaven. You don't

see the grave. Because of Jesus, you don't see the grave.

There's no darkness. If you breathe your last breath here in this world, there's no darkness for you.

There's no bizarre, you know, gauntlet or some dark fog you walk through. To be absent from this body, the Bible says, is to be present with the Lord.

And my, that is rejoicing and good news to say the least.
