Jeff wrote, how do you ask more when people feel that they're giving their all?

All they have.

My team has a narrowed focus on their primary job, but this is still killing their desire

to develop and grow.

Okay, well, I know this frustration firsthand, Jeff.

I spent much of my 20s and 30s with this frustration.

I had heard this leadership axiom plenty of times, but never really embraced it until

my 40s.

You can't want for others more than they want for themselves.

I wasn't embracing it because I thought it was giving up on people.

I just had to figure out how to make them want it.

The problem I came to realize was I wanted them to do what I wanted.
