I'm your host, Jake Burns, and I'm sharing what I think is a pretty fun episode today that is going to put a bow on my thoughts on Baker Mayfield and really my conversations on him

for for the season off season and into into the season serious conversations I should say we'll see

when those conversations are serious in 2022 we'll see what shakes out in terms of the timeline but

there was only one person that most

people wanted me to have a discussion with on the topic. And that's Pete Smith of S.I. Brown's

digest. I don't think it's a secret that Pete and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum here.

Not as far apart as some people think, but opposite ends of the spectrum of who we think of

Mayfield as a player. Obviously, you guys know the Russell Wilson news today. So Aaron Rogers, Russell

Wilson, both make their decisions. Russell waving is no trade clause to be traded to Denver

and Aaron returning for a large amount of money to Green Bay. Those were the most plausible,

clear upgrades that warranted feeling comfortable giving up the type of money to Green Bay, those were the most plausible, clear upgrades that warranted

Shouldn't say money, but draft capital.

Well, money in Aaron's case, that you would be comfortable giving up to get a guy.
