Summary

WE DID IT! We make it to episode number 100! Who would have guessed it? Not us. Not us. That's for darn sure. Thank you so much for everyone who has listened!
This week we're kicking off our Lunar Tales episodes with a critical, some may say exhaustive, look at the theory that Stanley Kubrick faked the moon landing. We examine the narrative of the faking, and then the revelation, to the world, that Kubrick tried to tell us all but we were too foolish to see. We'll point out waaaaay too many things about the Shining, and give you a walk through of film manipulation techniques, like front screen projection, as we try to explore why anyone would think that the moon landings weren't real to begin with, and then that Kubrick was the one to fake them. We hope you'll enjoy.

Oh, Hello and welcome to the 100th episode of the Not Alone podcast.

0:34.8

I'm your host, Samuel Fredrickson. And I'm Jason Moitoso. And Jason, can you believe it?

0:42.4

That I'm still sitting here? That I'm here, that you're here, that the whole, all of this

0:47.7

hasn't just collapsed around us. Absolutely astonished. Me too. I didn't know what I was

0:54.0

anticipating, but it was not 100 episodes.

0:57.1

No, I'll give you that. Maybe a tenth of it. Yeah, yeah. How are you feeling? You're poised to take us in our big leap to video here in... Shortly.

1:05.9

Shortly. I like that. Nice non-committal.

1:09.2

In a minute future. Very soon. And I really think that's going to re-energize the podcast. I also, or not re-energize,

1:16.1

but just like take us into our next form, our final form. I think we need imagery.

1:21.5

I think so too. Which also, I think another thing I'm going to do, so the last, I don't know,

1:26.7

30, 40 episodes or so, I felt another thing I'm going to do, so the last, I don't know, 30, 40 episodes or so,

1:28.5

I felt myself moving more into like the skeptical range where you live.

1:34.5

And I got to tell you, I hate it.

1:36.3

It's terrible here.

1:37.3

And so I think I'm going to make it my job to just find the absolute craziest things

1:42.7

I can find and talk about like that. Like,

1:45.0

for instance, this like lost civilization in the Grand Canyon sort of a thing, like, or the,

1:49.4

the hidden city down there, that sort of stuff. That before, at the beginning of the show, I would

1:53.7

have said, that's crazy. I'm not going to talk about it. I don't care. That's also pretty easy to verify. No, it's not. You think so, but it's not. But in any case...

2:01.8

Road ship to the Grand Canyon?

2:03.0

Let's do it.
