0:43.5	today. We've got a really important program. We are on a mission to change the world, one
0:47.9	child at a time. If you've been listening to Faith Radio the last couple of days, you know
0:52.1	that we are partnering with an amazing ministry
0:54.5	called One Child. We're hoping and praying that our whole network, that's Northwestern Media,
0:58.7	would be able to sponsor over 1,700 children. That would be amazing. Faith Radio's part,
1:04.0	167 children. How far are we towards that goal? We've got 59 children sponsored. You change
1:10.5	child's life, you change the world.
1:12.8	And I'm going to just hear this. There are over 400 million children right now, 400 million living
1:18.8	in extreme poverty throughout the world. COVID-19 made things so much worse and families are
1:23.4	overwhelmed. And it can be so easy to get overwhelmed yourself when you look at the gravity
1:28.4	and the magnitude of the issue. But you can change the world for one child, a little more than
1:33.9	a dollar a day. You change the world for a child, you change the world for their family,
1:38.1	and oftentimes their community. Some of these kids' stories that we're hearing about,
1:42.6	who had, you know, as children lost both parents and were going to be orphans and were so at risk and vulnerable.
1:48.3	One of them went on to be a doctor because someone sponsored her and changed, broke the cycle of poverty.
1:54.3	Well, I'm so excited and honored that our program director, Ben Holson, joins us today to talk about his recent trip to the Dominican Republic about the need around the world, about how this trip impacted him. He's going to tell us
