Chapter 27 Thunderbirds are GO.

The bold announcement was distant but distinct. The adrenaline soaked music that followed it, though quiet was evidently very nearby.

What the hell am I doing in the same environment as Thunderbirds?

She wondered.

Her eyes opened.

Someone had removed her ceiling and replaced it with a different one.

No, she realized.

This wasn't her room.

She raised her head from the pillow and slowly took in the scenery, letting it filter in gradually as she moved

her head in a slow arc.

On the wall at the far end of the bed was a poster of a half in bold red letters.

Predator, Sally's head flopped back onto the pillow.

I've died and gone to hell.

Speaking awoke the unpleasant taste in her mouth and she grimaced.

The events of the previous night began to flicker in her mind like a movie trailer.

She saw Gas, Glenn and Kaye in the fireside threesome, Kay calling her a frigid bitch,

a big bald man in a wham t-shirt and trousers that rode too far up his ankles. She saw a mixed back as she held

onto it so as not to fall off of his bike. Jesus, I rode on the back of that thing.

Then there was the pub, the music, dancing with and then kissing Mick.

That incident played itself through again. She smiled as she remembered how she had felt in his arms.
