Welcome to Legends of Aventress. I'm Nikki, and you're listening to Once Upon a Witchlight. Here's what happened last time.

Having rescued the prince of one of the Faye courts, the spring Court, you found yourselves with only one path ahead of you,

and that is the path towards the Brighanak Mines.

You ventured down the perilous climb, scaled half this mountainside,

until you reached the valley below, and the entrance to the mine itself.

It was here that the queen of the cords words rang true.

You were all tasked to give up a wish, not one or two, but three a piece, to unlock the door to these minds.

In doing so, you found yourselves entering the minds themselves.

The wishes, which you had been granted for mere moments,

were crystallized as an offering to this place into a large

node that was interspersed with many other wishes from countless adventurers or as Frost learned

in his moment of clarity that the dreams of the mortal realm, the wishes, every wish on a star, wish

in a fountain, dreams of those all over the material realms come to this place and find

themselves encased in stones, stones that can be used at a later date,

you realize that these stones that are trapped inside this node

could be extracted if you could find the ones that belong to you.

And they could be broken open and used.

And it's in this moment that you are looking at this node

and thinking about the ways that you could extract these stones, that you are overtaken.

You don't see the ropes as they are tossed over your bodies, as large puffs of this almost glittery wish-like dust begins to fill

your nostrils. You feel a tiredness overwhelm you. You feel consciousness slowly slipping away from

you. And you try with everything that you have to overcome this sleepiness from this dust.
