We've received the complete sixth season of Once Upon a Time, and we're going to open it up and let you see what's inside.

Welcome back to Once, the unofficial podcast for ABC's TV show Once Upon a Time. I'm Daniel J. Lewis. I'm Jeremy Loughlin.

Thanks to Disney and ABC for sending us the complete sixth season of Once Upon a time, again, a little bit early.

So we get to let you see a sneak peek of what's inside. We'll review the actual contents of this later in our audio podcast over at oncepodcast.com.

There are some disappointments about this. So I'm going to tell you that right up front.

Spoil it a little bit for you.

But the first visible disappointment is, again, no lenticular cover.

That's the thing where if you turn it two different directions, you get to see two different images like some of the former seasons. Season one was the two

different versions of the characters, Storybrook and Fairy Tale Land. Very clever. Season two was

back and forth between the pirate ship and Emma breaking the curse, or not breaking the curse, but the magic is coming.

Magic coming back to Storybrook.

So it says something about season two.

Yeah.

It tells you things about it.

And these were the two seasons that then had a unique image on the cover.

And then after season two, we got season three back to the apple, which is a very iconic thing.

So no problem.

What was the first one that they put the apple and evil queen eyes on?

Right.

Which wasn't bad, but didn't say, as I recall, a whole lot about season three's unique features.

Right.

Season three should have been green.

...
