Well then, welcome to another podcast. This one on Venus Cycles. I'm recording it on April 30th,

2025. And fun fact, this is the 16th anniversary of the podcast. Back in the spring of 2009, I had this very impulsive idea to go and buy a microphone

and start a podcast. I started three of them, actually, one on astrology, one on music,

and then another on Chinese medicine, actually, as an experiment

to see which one maybe would take and which one I enjoyed doing the most. And it was the

astrology one that really caught traction early on. And so I committed to it. And I wasn't an astrologer at that point.

I was just interested in astrology. And quite quickly over the years, I became a professional

astrologer. I got certified. I, at this point, I've given thousands of readings, done hundreds of podcasts, and here I am,

16 years later.

And partly what I want to do in this show is reflect on the power of Venus cycles and how we can actually frame our lives

around them and with them, but also be a bit of a check-in with where I'm at with the show.

I mean, if you've been a long-time listener, you've probably noticed that I'm at with the show. I mean, if you've been a long time listener, you've probably

noticed that I'm not doing as many of these podcasts. It doesn't mean I'm not doing astrology. I'm

still teaching a lot, still working with clients. That's all happening. It's just, I've been in a bit

of a trough when it comes to my creativity around the podcast.

It's been elsewhere.

I've been getting back into arts and wanting to write and read more.

And it's a very interesting pattern.

But knowing about Venus cycles and knowing what happened in 2017 as well.

So the two Venus and Eri cycles that I've experienced while doing this work has actually been quite helpful.
