matchmaking crowns have returned following ufc catar a fight night event in doha. It was the UFC's first appearance in the area.

And I have to say, it was a very good card. I enjoyed it. We had all different kinds of emotions,

happiness, sadness, what the hell are we watchings? Heavyweighty, heavyweight MMA. I mean,

we had it all high stakes

fights lots to talk about especially from a matchmaking perspective and that is why we are here

once again i am mike heck and joining me as always is the co-host the co-matchmaker the prince

of positivity and my best friend alexander kaley aka how are we doing on this sunday morning we're doing, you know, sorry, let me re-visage my mic here, guys. I know I had it a weird angle. What's up, my best friend? Yeah, we're doing great, man. We're doing great. What a fun show. What a nice way. It was like, you know, early, early day, like 10 in the morning for us on the East Coast. Sorry for you, West Coasters, probably a little bit earlier. And I'm not exactly sure what time it depends on people watching all over the world. But I mean, us on the over in North America, we were very happy for like a little bit of an earlier show. And we were pretty optimistic about this one on paper, Mike. We were all saying this is what fight night cards would look like, create matchups,

meaningful contender stakes, all that stuff. Promising undercard, like I think we were a little, you know, there's some names on the prelims that I think a lot of us were that are like, okay, well, we're not sure, you know, some of these people had one, two, three fights in the UFC. but even then there was some intrigue there and some entertaining fights.

So I think you see the team that should be really happy with how this card turned out. We have some questions. I mean, we've got some questions coming out of it. But I will say, I think the guys who had to step up, for the most part, Mike, did so in a meaningful way. but I think that us and the community are, you know, we're not in the same pace as far as like how, how much did these guys step up? How far did they step forward in the contender line? Apparently up for debate, very up for debate. Yeah. And look, this has been a good stretch. And, you know, there are a couple of weeks there where just like oh this is so bad this is so brutal

and people were like oh you guys just whine and cry and are so negative but now we're in

like a good stretch we had 322 which is really good i know the last two fights aren't weren't
