2 weeks ago in this podcast 2 promises were made. One, Ohio State game meant everything to

Penn State. It was the peak of their season. They needed this one more than any other.

Two, I promised you the Tommy Stevens would make an appearance in that package was guaranteed to hit the field against the buggies.

That didn't happen, and now I'm about to tell you the first thing once more.

This Michigan State game means everything to Penn State. It's the

lion's last game against a ranked opponent. It's the only one right now. They're

not projected win by at least a 90% probability. And if they even come close to this, I think they have a steep climb as

anyone in the top 10 to reach the playoff. Yeah absolutely I mean I think that's

basically looking at the rest of the schedule with Rutgers and Nebraska and

Maryland this is this is the big one.

Michigan State, if you beat them, they won't be ranked anymore,

but they've played some good teams tough

and you know, I've gotten some quality wins along the way.

And, you know, East Lansing is on the road, it's a tough place to play as always so

yeah I'm right there with you this is the biggest one remaining Penn State needs

style points down the stretch Kirk Herb Street said it this week and

absolutely have to agree with that they got to start blowing some teams out. Kirk because you know I pointed out multiple times this podcast included I still think they

very much have a path to the playoff the part about that is obviously they need

help I've underscored that there are number teams even in the next two weeks

you want to look at Clemson or today, other teams that could very well lose.

Oklahoma State at 4 o'clock.

So they need the help, but secondly, they need to go undefeated.
