My name is Christine Blackburn, and I'm here with

Honestinney, and we're coming to you from the Bob Hope Hollywood U.S.O, located at L.A.X, L.A.

International Airport. Okay, what does that mean, the U.S.O? The U.S.O. is United

Service Organization. They put on the entertainment shows for the troops anywhere and everywhere,

including in the United States.

They have these USOs all over the country.

And it may not be a show there, but you can go there.

You get some coffee and some donuts and some condoms.

And then you go out to Sunset Boulevard, and, you know, you fought for our freedom, and now

you can have sex with a prostitute. Okay, okay, okay. The reason why you're talking about this is because our guest tonight, Graham Elwood, comedian Graham Elwood, he has toured extensively around the world actually doing his comedy and he's also done a lot of these USO tours. That's what you're talking about. Right, exactly., he was not at LAX. He probably started there. Right. He was like in Iraq and World War II Germany. They have a time machine, apparently, so you can go back. Well, the topic tonight is on the war front. And that's, that's the thing. So he goes into these, you know, places that are war-torn, and he tries to make these people laugh. I don't know how it works.

Yeah, they would either be, we can perhaps ask him later, they would either be the worst or best

audience in the world. Well, I could see a lot of them just maybe gazing out into the abyss,

you know, like, what are you doing up there, funny boy? I just blew a guy's arm off or something.

Yeah, but on your hand but maybe

you're just but they could also be really grateful you're there like oh thank god somebody

trying to entertain me because i just blew a guy's arm off so i now to find out which way it goes if they're

required to be there like in other words if it's a mandatory thing like you got to go and sit in this

chair and watch this guy make you laugh for an hour you You know what I mean? Like, is it a rule? Do they have to go or do they want to go to the show? I think we both know that when comedy, the rule may be that you have to be there, but the rule is never you have to laugh. No one's ever been able to order anyone to laugh. God, Honest, that is, that strikes deep. That's grim. I know. That is grim indeed.
