Soriano, with you today. And Darius, I have just recently woken up after getting back from

Phoenix last night early. That was the nice thing because the game started at 1.30 Phoenix time.

And the game was disappointing to say the least for a Laker team that really wanted and needed

to win the game. Anthony Davis played 42 minutes. LeBron played 37. Usually when LeBron is in this

type of a mode and the Lakers

rotation is somewhat shortened, they have won a lot of these types of games. And that just

wasn't the case based mostly off of a really rough first quarter in which Phoenix scored

45 points, the most points in any first quarter that the Lakers have allowed this year.

And it was a combination of threes from role players like Royce O'Neill and Grayson Allen that ended up making six apiece.

And Yusuf Nerkich just doing a lot of damage inside on the glass, even as the Lakers

somewhat limited Kevin Durant and Devin Booker from an efficiency standpoint.

And there are multiple reasons, Darius, that this happened.
