podcast. So today you know we are doing another current events episode. There's a

lot going on in the world that we can try to talk about. We're probably going to go in several

directions, but when Brett and I were talking about things beforehand, we had discussed sort of the question of

like mental health in relation to the pandemicemic because for all of us right now, you know, one thing that is really interesting is the whole world is experiencing this pandemic in various ways and we're all trying to learn to deal with it and it's definitely starting to take a real impact on people

and looking at that impact I think can actually be an interesting way of looking at capitalism

more broadly and the way that it fails us but you know we can dive into that a little bit do you have some thoughts on that breath

Yeah, I mean I just think it's worth just driving home how monumental the health care crisis is in this country and how little

like sort of attention it gets from the mainstream press you know while we're

watching the empty spectacle of Biden and Trump debates.

You know, people are suffering in profound ways.
