I want to draw your attention to a passage of scripture that I cannot shake.

I preached from this passage in London a couple of weeks ago.

I preached from this passage in L.A. a couple of weeks ago with different angles.

And every time that I want to try to move on,

I look at the world and I say I can't.

Because this passage of scripture speaks so succinctly and so clearly and so precisely

to the times that we are in that if you just chewed on these 13 or 14, 14 verses that I'm going to,

if you just chewed on this and sought revelation and understanding,

it will prepare you for every season of your life and every moment

and every day that you live.

So we're going to go to the gospel according to St. Matthew chapter 24,

and I'm going to read the first 14 verses therein,

and then we're going to have a conversation, and then we'll move on.

It reads... And then we'll move on. He reads, then Jesus went out and departed from the temple.

And his disciples came to show him the buildings of the temple.

Jesus departs from the temple and his disciples come and are trying

to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, do you not see all these things,

these things that you want to show me? He says, surely I will say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another.

That shall not be thrown down.

Now, as he set on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately saying,

tell us, when will these things be and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age and jesus answered and said to them take he that no one

deceives you for many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive
