Our first guest is Maya Rupert, who is on the third black woman to run a presidential

campaign.

And if successful, she would help elect the first Latino president of the United States.

I'm so excited to bring you this conversation where Maya and I talked about her rise to become

a campaign manager of a historical presidential run, how she is running secretary-casters campaign

differently, the pressure of being the only and why she is empowered by the responsibility

of opening doors for others.

So Maya, you are one of the only black women and certainly the youngest to be a campaign

manager for a presidential hopeful.

And I was kind of looking into some of the stuff that you've done before and you haven't

worked on a campaign before.
