Hello everyone, Robin here. I am now a married man, all went well on the big day. We were blessed with good weather and good people and are very happy.

I am now back at my desk working on the Istanbul Kickstarter videos.

But while I was away, I was offered a very exciting opportunity.

I was invited to attend the Sound Education Conference in Boston, which takes place next month.

A sound education is an educational audio conference, meaning lots of top podcasters are there talking about their craft and the industry in general.

I was asked if I would like to come and share the stage with Mike Duncan in a joint session about Rome and Byzantium.

That was the easiest decision I've ever had to make.

So on Saturday 12 October at Boston University, Mike and I will meet for the first time.

I have a conversation on stage about the Roman world and then take questions from the audience.

Pretty exciting, right?

I will also feature on the History Podcast as panel the day before Friday 11th.

I will just be around all of Friday and Saturday attending events and more than willing to hang out with any listeners who would like to come.
