I am still talking a little basketball, a little football, little NFL draft, anything.

It's baseball's opening day. It's a really good time for sports watching. It truly is.

The Masters is a couple weeks away. They're still 10 days exactly left in the NCAA tournament.

As I record this, it's Thursday evening.

The Sweet 16 is getting ready to tip off.

We're about three weeks from the end of the NBA regular season.

Baseball underway, so a lot of sports on your TV, if that's your thing.

In exactly four weeks from this moment, the NFL draft will be getting ready to start.

So what kind of surprises, what kind of drama will it bring?

I think overall, this is not really, at least from where I sit, it doesn't hold the spice of last year.

I think there's a couple of reasons for that.

You know, last year the Browns held the number two pick.

The Browns were certainly in the quarterback business.

There was a lot of mystery about where else they would go and when they would go quarterback,

because I think it was pretty clear from late February on that Cam Ward was going to go number one.

But the Browns were also on kind of a tour of private workouts.

I think they only did one pro day that ex-head coach Kevin Stefansky was seen at,

but they were visiting the quarterback prospects.

They were visiting a lot of the other top five prospects with their families.

They went to the owner's meetings and then went right from there to Oregon to work out
