| 0:16.0 | But you're losing too much weight and that's becoming a problem? |

| 0:22.0 | First, let's talk about the difference between fasting and starving. |
| 0:26.0 | There's a point where you go from fasting to starving and that point has to do with not having any more fat reserves to tap into. |
| 0:37.0 | So if you're very, very thin, well, then potentially the body is going to start using the muscle as its fuel. |
| 0:44.0 | So you start getting a breakdown of muscle protein. |
| 0:46.0 | So you might notice that your muscles are shrinking and they're very, very weak. |
| 0:52.0 | But typically when you're starving, you have a lot of other symptoms too. |
| 0:55.0 | You're not feeling energetic, you're weak. |
| 0:58.0 | It's affecting your mood, all sorts of issues. |
| 1:01.0 | But if you want to stop losing weight, yes, you do want to keep your fats a little bit higher. |
| 1:08.0 | You can take MCT oil. |
| 1:11.0 | But here's the thing, it's the carbs. |
| 1:13.0 | You want to keep your carbs at the maximum level, right around 50 grams. |
| 1:17.0 | Because normally it's between 20 and 50 grams. |
| 1:20.0 | It's on the high side because it's the carbs that control the weight. |
| 1:23.0 | So if you have a little bit higher carbs, then you'll stop losing weight. |
