Chapter 25 starts the day before the wedding.

The labels for Jane's honeymoon luggage sit on a shelf.

They breed Jane Rochester, hotel, London.

But she's being superstitious about affixing them to her trunks.

The beautiful clothes inside belong to someone who isn't born yet.

Her low-addresses hang in the closet.

Rochester is out on some last-minute errands, it's storming out and it's late

and Jane is anxious that he isn't home yet.

When he finally gets home, Jane has dinner with him,

but also tells him that she has to talk to him.

He's alarmed by how upset she seems.

She tells him that two things happened the night before, both of which upset her.

The first is that she had a nightmare.

There was a baby, which we know is a bad sign, and Thornfield was burnt to the ground.
