Well, hello, my friends. I've got to tell you, I've been pondering an important question recently,

and we're actually going to be doing this next week in self-coaching society.

In my book club, I'm part of an online book club that's based in England.

We are doing a book about money this month.

And this question came up.

And I sent it to my sisters. I sent it to my friends. Me and my husband were

pondering it. And it's so interesting because I feel like you learn a lot about a person based on

their answer, based on their honest response. And it's wonderful to ask this question, to ponder it,

to think about it. But the person we really want answering this question is ourselves.

To know what it is that we value, to know what it is that matters to us, to know what it is that's going to regret-proof our lives at the end of it all.

The question is this, my friends. What does being rich mean to you?

Oh my gosh, I love this question. What does being rich mean to you? Because our culture will have it the money, status, fame, if that's what you care

about, significance, followers in some cases, perhaps power and influence over others. What

is being rich mean to you? And as I sent this question out and asked the people in

my life, so many things came back to me. It was about stability, about security, about freedom,

about having options, about good education for your children, about health, about, oh my gosh, what else was coming up.

Oh, so many things. And it's interesting because some people answer very practically,

like XYZ, almost like a checklist. And other people just say, I want spaciousness.

I want to savor my life. I want to be present.
