Coming off a busy holiday season, and I mean busy airports. Long lines at the ticket counter,

long lines at security check, long lines everywhere. That's because over 100 million Americans

traveled by air this past holiday season. At least over 100 million people were supposed to fly

this season, but some of those folks never got off the ground.

Thousands of flights were canceled and tens of thousands were delayed. That's because of a,

sorry, sky joke here, perfect storm of factors that kept planes stuck on the runway. The first was,

well, actually a storm. A relentless snowstorm battered the Pacific Northwest over the holidays, stalling

thousands of holiday travelers, but probably making more than a few skiers happy. And then there's that
