You know, a lot of people don't know that Joe Getty was actually a rock musician.

That was sort of another career of his, besides talk radio.

And when he was younger, he was very involved with his own rock band, Joe Getty and the Dead Flowers.

And in this clip from 2008, he has a 10-hour recording session, but something goes terribly wrong.

So let's go back to 2008.

When Joe Gettie thinks it may all be gone.

I had a 10-hour recording session scheduled for my soon-to-be-released blockbuster CD.

10 hours?

Yeah.

8 to 6.

Do you do that voluntarily? Well, there's work to be done. 10 hours? Yeah. Eight to six. Do you do that voluntarily?

Well, there's work to be done.

Ten hours.

Yeah.

So, and we, I'll tell you this, we've probably done four or five 10 hour sessions for this CD, which is going to vanish into the dustbin of musical history the moment it is completed,

but I'm still very, very happy. You'll have it the rest of your life. It's my white whale. You know, it's my, it's like

one of the two things on my bucket list. So I'm doing it. So we've had. What's the other thing?

I haven't decided yet. Play Augusta? With only two. Oh, my God. Hmm, that'd be a good one. Yeah. I just, I don't think that's going to happen.
