This is a conspiracy. Why are they waiting so long to get to Amr al-Allahu tala'anhu?

But again to set the premise of the series, we have been talking about the first,

meaning those who embraced Islam by order, speaking about the struggle as it was unfolding,

and the capacity of these companions in regards to their embracing Islam.

And of course with Umr al-Khatab al-Allahu tala'anhu,

his Islam completely changes the course of history forever.

So this is the most consequential conversion to Islam in the history of Islam

after the Prophet ﷺ himself receiving revelation.

The consequences of his Shahada change the entire course.

A page is turned in the serial books of the Prophet ﷺ and we understand something new

about this community that laid the foundation for us to benefit from until today.

And Umr al-Allahu tala'anhu, of course, is the last of the four Khulafat al-Rashadeen

in terms of the order of embracing Islam.

And the last of the, you know, the prominence Muhajidin, the prominent people of Mecca,

prominent in regards to the serial books, the names that are well known to us.

When you look at the order of people embracing Islam,

Umr al-Allahu tala'anhu is the last of the group of Muhajidin

as we know them who embraces Islam and who changes the way that Islam

functions in the world as a community of the Prophet ﷺ.
