Summary

The best place to watch the Olympics this year is TikTok. The videos – including behind-the-scenes clips of the Olympic Village, the training centers, and those cardboard beds that quickly went viral – have amassed billions of views on the popular social media app. As Vox senior reporter Rebecca Jennings (@rebexxxxa) wrote, “This year’s Olympics may be cursed, but on TikTok, they’re fun as hell.” Read Rebecca’s column here. on social media and then we sort of start to put a face to the name and everything and

1:15.4

we feel like we know them, the same thing is happening for athletes on TikTok.

1:19.2

And so they are making videos of behind the scenes at the Olympic Village, other testing

1:25.7

out those beds, which is really funny, they're making like thirst videos for their fellow

1:33.9

athletes.

1:34.9

It's just like a lot of fun kind of, you see them less as athletes and more as people
