Hello and welcome to another episode of Deep State Radio. I am David Rothkoff, and I am joined by Corey Shockey in London, England, David

Sanger, and Joe Serrensioni and Rosa Brooks, all in Washington, D.C. although spread out in different locations, so to make them

less vulnerable to direct attack. And today I want to talk about something uplifting and exciting and that's the Olympics.

You know, the Olympics of course are more than just, you know, the moment every four years where we learn again what exactly good

curling technique is, you know, although, you know, and I think that's kind of weird, by the way, because we'll sit there and go,

oh look, that guy is a really good sweeper.

You know, he's really sweeping in front of that

the stone with really great style. And then we forget that we knew about that.

But, you know, there's more to the Olympics than all of that,

fortunately, since curling isn't really a sport any more than say stamp collecting is, but, and

that is that these Olympics are occurring in the Koreans, and they have had this subtext of diplomatic

Olympics to them that is fantastic for those of us who are in fact deep state radio nerds and interested in those things and of

course the high point of this came as Kim Jong-un sent his sister to attend these events and she was placed next to it a variety of

different events the vice president of the United States who although he appears to be a cardboard cut out is actually I'm told a real human
