Adler is legitimate last day at Deadspin.

On Valentine's Day, no less, she is going to the vile and disgusting athletic based on a subscription model.

And she's going to be covering the Mets and the Yankees.

Is that correct, Adler?

Sure is. Do you feel like eventually all of us will be going to be covering the Mets and the Yankees. Is that correct, Adler? Sure is.

Do you feel like eventually all of us will be going to the athletic in some way?

I mean, like, I hope so.

You know, it's like, you know, I kind of went through this at BuzzFeed when they were on a big hiring spree.

It was like they just kept hiring people who were my friends outside of the company.

And it's kind of starting to feel like that with the athletic.

So, you know, I'm kind of just hoping that it's got like a gravitational pull and all of the people who I want to work with in the industry. Like you guys will suddenly just, you know, appear in athletic slack one day and we can go from there. That's not happening. Yeah, I mean, that's not happening unless you get me, you have to give me your referral fee if you do that. So if they give you like $1,000 because you got like a friend to submit a resume. I'm going to need to see some puppet prototypes before I start talking about leaving the podcast. Adler, you're going to cover the Mets and the Yankees together. Is that

common practice? Don't you usually have to choose one? I mean, I think I would describe my

upcoming role as kind of a junior position. There's a fixed beatwriter on the Yankees and there's a fixed beat writer on the Mets.

And so I'm kind of plugging up holes behind them.
